A SUMMER FESTIVAL will take place, this year between the dates of 14 June and 29 June. This event will be based at St. Anne’s Church and is open to all village residents and their guests to enjoy.

The festival will be of special interest for those who enjoy music but there will also be the opportunity to participate in a music workshop, led by international soloist Debbie Norman. No previous singing experience is required. The programme for this event will be announced later but will focus on well-known music from the West End Theatre. It will be fun and will help you develop vocal technique and confidence as well as learning to sing a chorus from a popular West End show by the end of the afternoon.

There will be contributions from local artists and floral arrangements on display in church.  Should any other village contributors wish to participate, please feel free to enquire.

Come and Sing Workshop led by Debbie Norman

All welcome, £5 entrance fee on door (under 18s free)

22 June


Summer Concert of St Anne’s choirs, including

Bel Canto, St Anne’s Church Choir and Young Voices, led by Claire De la Haye

29 June


Concert: Baslow Choir & the Muskoka Wind Quintet

with Rachel Abbott (soprano), led by Andrew Marples
